Mutterings of an Old Woman

Introducing our latest project – a commission by Kim Robinson, daughter of the late Betty Robinson.
This book was created to memorialize her mother who was a lifetime resident of Gore Bay and well-known writer on Manitoulin Island.
Her stories were originally published in the Manitoulin West Recorder starting in May 1999 and continued until just after her 90th birthday in the summer of 2012.
Each newspaper article was transcribed and formatted, along with images of Ms. Robinson, to produce a soft cover novel for family members to remember her by.
Copies are now available to the public and everyone can benefit from some good ol’ island wisdom – so go check it out on our webstore!
